Juneau student graduates from Linfield University

Finn Musslewhite of Juneau graduated from Linfield University, the university announced.

Following the spring 2022 semester, Linfield awarded nine master’s degrees, 243 bachelor’s degrees and five certificates to 252 students. Musslewhite graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the university’s McMinnville campus, according to the university.

Juneau students make honor roll at Oregon State

Oregon State University recently announced its spring honor roll.

A handful of Juneau students were among those to earn honors.

Timothy A. Degener, Teslin L. Gallagher, Amanda J. Mcdowell, John A. Morris, Abigail R. Olsen and Chase A. Saviers made the list, according to the university. ‘

A total of 7,150 students earned a GPA of 3.5 or better to make the listing, according to the university. To be on the honor roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

Kindred Post announces postcard winners

Kindred Post on Friday announced the 10 winners of its statewide postcard contest. Each winning artist will receive $100, and their work will be printed on 1,000 postcards that will be featured at the downtown store and post office.

The contest winners were chosen from nearly 300 submissions from across the state. Winning artists and pieces included:
