As part of the University of Alaska Southeast’s Sound + Motion, the Alaska State Library Historical Collections will present its seventh annual Film Treasures from the State Library on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. in the UAS Egan Lecture Hall. The program will feature a collection of films from the State Library’s historical film and video collections, including a short film about Alaskan artist Fred Machetanz, a film about Tlingit history and culture, and a PBS documentary about living and working at a Southeast Alaskan logging camp, plus an anti-litter commercial featuring a couple of Juneau personalities.
