Alaska Committee thanks those who helped welcome lawmakers to Juneau

The Alaska Committee and local businesses and organizations put together welcome gift baskets for legislators.

“Every year we want to communicate that the community of Juneau appreciates and welcomes the legislature,” said Wayne Jensen, Chair of the Alaska Committee.

He added, “in light of the additional challenges presented by COVID-19, it seemed even more important to do what we could to extend a warm welcome.”

Additional safety measure were taken in order to make it as safe as possible for all involved and for the legislator recipients. The Alaska Committee would like to extend a special thanks to the following business and organizations for their contributions and support during an especially hard year.
