Thank you letters for the week of July 4, 2021

Thank you, merci, danke, gracias, gunalchéesh.

Thank you for supporting the arboretum

Thank you to all the hearty folks who came out to the sold out Solstice Party at the Jensen-Olsen Arboretum, on June 20. It rained on and off.

In spite of the rain, we enjoyed Tom Locher on the piano, the delights of the gardens, the tapas boxes and friendships .

I want to thank Alaska Fudge Company for their donation of fudge to sweeten the dinner and to Alaska Seafood Company for processing the fish.

The Friends of the Arboretum Board is a creative and hard-working group, and I appreciate their creativity and talents.

Thank you Juneau gardeners and supporters of the Arboretum.

Pat White,

President Friends of the Jensen-Olsen Arboretum

Thank you for aiding EOLC event

The Foundation for End of Life Care recently hosted the virtual event, Having the Last Word, an educational seminar on the finer points of advanced directives and wills.

EOLC would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the two attorneys, Vance Sanders and Liz Smith, who so generously donated their time and expertise to make this event a success. Their presentations were both informative and insightful. The many questions raised by the Zoom audience were handled with respect and sensitivity.

EOLC would also like to extend the warmest of thanks to Perseverance Theater’s Frank Delaney who expertly and enthusiastically took over the technical aspects of producing this virtual event. We could not have produced such a professional production without his help.

For those wishing to watch the seminar it can be found on the EOLC website at foundationforendoflifecareak.org.
