Cancer Connection’s 30th Annual Beat the Odds —Race Against Cancer was held Aug. 21. Our largest fundraiser of the year was a huge success thanks to many volunteers, participants, and donors who also socially distanced and masked up. Funds support Southeast Alaskans coping with cancer through travel assistance, support groups, and education and awareness events with the intention of early detection and cancer prevention.
