The US Forest Service is providing an additional six-day comment period on the Treadwell Ditch Trail Environmental Assessment by accepting comments from Jan. 20 through midnight Monday, January 25. The former deadline was Tuesday, January 19.
The final weekend of the initial comment period, Forest Service websites went out nationally and members of the public had difficulty accessing the EA electronically. The Forest Service apologizes for the inconvenience and asks those interested to submit their input.
“We want to hear from everyone interested in this project,” said a Forest Service email. To access the EA visit http://go.usa.gov/3FT5Y (case sensitive). A copy of the EA may also be viewed at the Juneau Ranger District office at 8510 Mendenhall Loop Road. Comments should be sent to: comments-alaska-tongass-juneau@fs.fed.us (please put “Treadwell” in the subject line).
