Costume party raises money for League of Women Voters

Though this year’s municipal election is over, the Juneau League of Women Voters is remaining active this fall.

The LWV is holding a costume party called “Unmask the Vote” next Friday, Oct. 27, serving as a fundraiser for the organization. The event, held at the Hangar Ballroom, runs from 5-7:30 p.m. It will include a costume contest, live music, door prizes, hors d’oeuvres, wine tasting and a silent auction.

Tickets are currently available, costing $30 for one and $50 for a pair. Tickets can be bought through PayPal online at www.juneaulwv.org or by calling 723-0473.
