Individuals willing to serve on the City and Borough of Juneau Assembly are requested to submit a declaration of candidacy form accompanied by a letter of interest by Tuesday.
The request should include reasons for seeking office, relevant experience and background and a resume. It must arrive by 4:30 p.m. to the Municipal Clerk’s office.
Qualified voters residing in Assembly District 1 are eligible to serve. District 1 includes the following municipal precincts: Douglas (33-500), Juneau #1 (33-510), Juneau #2 (33-515), Juneau #3 (33-520), Lemon Creek (33-525), North Douglas (33-530), and Juneau Airport (34-410).
