The Juneau Commission on Sustainability and the Renewable Energy Alaska Project will be holding a panel discussion about electric vehicles this week.
The discussion, titled “The Case for Electric Vehicles in Juneau,” is scheduled to take place at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center on Thursday at 5:45 p.m.
This event is part of a series of energy-related forums hosted in part by the City and Borough of Juneau, which is currently considering its draft Energy Plan.
Thursday’s forum will cover the steps Juneau has taken to electrify vehicles, from AEL&P’s involvement with charging stations to the experiences of electric car owners here in town.
