One of two damaged vehicles from a two-car motor vehicle accident is towed away from the scene as Capital City Fire/Rescue and Juneau Police Department officials secure the scene in the 8000 block of Glacier Highway outside the Fred Meyer grocery store. Parts of Egan Drive were shut down after the accident, creating traffic for drivers starting near the Mendenhall wetlands area who were headed toward the valley. Calls to CCFR for details about possible injuries during the accident were not returned by the end of the business day.
