Assault

• At 4:26 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the area of Front Street to investigate the report of an assault by an unknown perpetrator.

Burglary

• At 3:46 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Christian Thomas Knapp, 24, in the 2200 block of Radcliffe Road for burglary and theft. Knapp was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 3:17 p.m. Tuesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of child abuse in the Juneau area.

Drug misconduct

• At 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of drug activity in the Juneau area.

• At 6:26 a.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of drug activity in the Juneau area.

Fraud

• At 1:56 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of an 86-year-old man who reported he was given a possibly fraudulent check in the Juneau area.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 7:17 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 8400 block of Airport Boulevard to investigate the report of a 26-year-old man who reported his silver Toyota Corolla was involved in a hit and run. No injuries were reported. Investigation continues.

• At 8:05 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 3300 block of Egan Drive to investigate a single-vehicle crash in which a truck driven by a 35-year-old man slid and then hit and damaged a light pole. The driver was cited for speeding and having an expired registration.

Shoplifting

• At 4:57 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 8700 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 36-year-old man who reported a 29-year-old man stole a jacket from a business.

Theft

• At 9:41 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the area of Marine Way to investigate the report of three people leaving a restaurant without paying their bill.

• At 9:57 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 2500 block of Scott Drive to investigate the report of a 77-year-old man who reported the theft of his debit card by a 44-year-old woman. Investigation continues.

Vehicle rifling

• At 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 1800 block of Northwood Drive to investigate the report of a 22-year-old man who reported his vehicle had been broken into. Investigation continues.

Wildlife violation

• On Tuesday, Juneau-based Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Juneau residents Alan Rehder, 43, and Jennie Rehder, 41, for obtaining 2015 sport fish and hunt licenses when they did not qualify as Alaska residents. The fines, $310 each, were issued out of Juneau District Court.
