Police calls for Friday, June 3, 2016

Domestic violence

• At 11:12 a.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department arrested a 22-year-old woman for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.

Fraud

• At 9:30 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of fraud in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 5:21 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a stolen Volkswagen Passat in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive. Investigation continues.

• At 9:47 a.m. Thursday, a 50-year-old man reported the theft of a red and white Kona Fire mountain bike, valued at $600, in the 2000 block of Glacier Highway.

Trespassing

• At 6:41 p.m. Wednesday, JPD cited and released Thurman Cairnes, 36, for criminal trespassing in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 7:59 p.m. Wednesday, JPD cited and released Alan Lee, 30, for criminal trespassing in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway.

Warrant served

• At 12:30 a.m. Thursday, JPD arrested Roberta Kay Richardson, 50, on an outstanding $20,000 Alaska State Trooper warrant in connection to an open felony drunken driving case. She was taken to LCCC.

Welfare check

• At 11:19 p.m. Wednesday, JPD created a case for safekeeping regarding a welfare issue in the 100 block of Seward Street. Alcohol was involved.
