Assault

• At 3:31 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a 36-year-old woman’s report that an assault had happened in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

• At 10:44 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 6500 block of Glacier Highway to investigate a 22-year-old man’s report that he was assaulted.

Burglary

• At 5:18 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 4400 block of Trafalgar Avenue to investigate the report of a burglary. Investigation continues.

• At 7:24 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Admiral Way to investigate the report of a burglary at a business. Investigation continues.

• At 8:05 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Behrends Avenue to investigate the report of a burglary. Investigation continues.

Criminal mischief

• At 5:13 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 400 block of Gold Street to document a report of criminal mischief. Police impounded a 1993 Chevy Blazer.

Domestic violence

• At 9:07 p.m. Tuesday, JPD cited and released a 31-year-old woman in the Juneau area for criminal mischief connected to domestic violence.

Sex crime

• At 8:37 a.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of a sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Theft

• At 1:26 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 5400 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report that a Bobcat compactor was stolen. It was later recovered.

• At 2:59 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 400 block of Egan Drive to investigate a 42-year-old man’s report that a concrete saw had been stolen. It was later recovered. Investigation continues.

• At 11:48 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate a 44-year-old man’s report that a Chromebook computer had been stolen. Investigation continues.

Vehicle rifling

• At 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Egan Drive to investigate a 23-year-old man’s report that a backpack had been stolen from his car.

Warrant arrest

• At 3:38 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Sigatabu Praise Oudekerk, 26, in the 100 block of Marine Way on four outstanding $250 JPD warrants for failing to appear in court for charges of larceny and trespassing.

• At 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Kyle Nalan, 40, in the area of Egan Drive on an outstanding Alaska State Troopers arrest warrant for a parole violation. Nalan was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and some of his belongings were placed in safekeeping.
