Police calls for Friday, Nov. 9, 2018

Assault

• At 5:44 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road to investigate the report of a 44-year-old man who reported being assaulted by a 36-year-old man who also punched out the window to a 1995 Ford. Investigation continues.

• At 3:54 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 1700 block of Douglas Highway to investigate the report of a 35-year-old man who reported that he’d been assaulted. The man was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for evaluation. Investigation continues.

Conditions violation

• At 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Marilyn Jean Willard, 48, in the 100 block of Seward Street for violating conditions of release. Alcohol was a factor. Willard was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Drug misconduct

• At 12:41 p.m. Tuesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of drug activity.

Drunken driving

• At 11:48 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Leticia Ortiz Alberto, 25, in the 2800 block of Douglas Highway for driving under the influence. Her breath-alcohol content was measured at 0.179 percent. She was taken to LCCC and the 2017 Honda she was driving was impounded.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 12:56 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of a 2013 Ford Taurus driven by a 14-year-old girl going into a ditch. Investigation continues.

• At 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, JPD cited John Ellis Wilcox, 90, for driving without a valid license and not maintaining a safe distance after a 2002 Chrysler he was driving hit a 1996 Toyota driven by a 20-year-old woman on Davis Avenue. No injuries were reported.

• At 4:26 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 6300 block of Douglas Highway to investigate the report of a 1994 Dodge Dakota colliding with three parked cars and multiple mailboxes. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.

Sex crime

• At 12:17 p.m. Tuesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of sexual abuse.

Theft

• At 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of a 34-year-old man who reported the theft of his wallet in the Juneau area.

• At 3:09 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 3200 block of Bresee Street to investigate the report of a 35-year-old man who reported his boat’s gas line was cut and an 18-gallon tank of fuel was stolen. The gas is estimated to be worth $400.

• At 2:11 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of a 45-year-old woman who reported her vehicle was stolen. Alcohol was a factor. The car was later found. Investigation continues.

• At 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 4900 block of Wren Drive to investigate the report of a 38-year-old woman who reported her bicycle was stolen.

• At 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of a 51-year-old woman who reported her bicycle tire was stolen in the area of Egan Drive.

Trespassing

• At 7:18 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 49-year-old woman who reported a 34-year-old woman was trespassing at a business. Police weren’t able to find the 34-year-old woman.

• At 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 22-year-old man trespassing. Investigation continues.

Vandalism

• At 8:59 p.m. Tuesday, JPD cited and released Adrianna Irene D’Cafango, 18, in the area of Wildmeadow Lane for criminal mischief after she spray-painted public property.

• At 11:51 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Roberts Street to investigate the report of a 52-year-old man who reported a Connex container was vandalized and a window was broken.
