Assault
• At 11:23 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Industrial Boulevard to investigate the report of a 35-year-old man who reported he was assaulted. Alcohol was a factor.
• At 12:49 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of an assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor.
• At 1:17 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Cody Louis Munnuk Mercure, 29, in the 200 block of Front Street for assaulting a police officer. Alcohol was a factor. Mercure was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Domestic violence
• At 1:14 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a 40-year-old woman who reported a 55-year-old man violated a domestic violence protective order in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor.
• At 9:39 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a domestic dispute between a man and woman in the Juneau area.
Drunken driving
• At 3:14 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Savannah Waen Grove, 41, in the 100 block of Second Street for driving under the influence. Grove was taken to LCCC and the vehicle she was driving was impounded.
Fraud
• On Friday afternoon, JPD responded to multiple reports of phone scams in the Juneau area. Read today’s A1 for more.
Motor vehicle crash
• At 4:24 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 3500 block of Riverside Drive to investigate the report of a 44-year-old man who reported a car hit his foot while he was walking his dog.
Shoplifting
• At 2:32 p.m. Friday, JPD cited Cody Louis Munnuk Mercure, 29, in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue for shoplifting. Alcohol was a factor.
• At 12:13 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of 10 stolen lighters. Investigation continues.
Theft
• At 6:11 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 8900 block of Sleepy Court to investigate the report of a 56-year-old woman who reported her cat was stolen.
• At 10 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 2800 block of Postal Way to investigate the report of a 51-year-old man who reported the theft of personal items. The theft happened on Dec. 25. Investigation continues.
Trespassing
• At 12:34 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Ollie Trent Stewart, 47, in the 200 block of Front Street for criminal trespass, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Alcohol was a factor. Stewart was taken to LCCC.
Vandalism
• At 2:54 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 1900 block of Allen Court to investigate the report of a 37-year-old woman who reported a 47-year-old man punched her television and shattered the screen.
Warrant arrest
• At 3:11 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Mark Albert Brown, 52, in the area of Egan Drive for failing to appear to an arraignment with the original charge of disorderly conduct. Alcohol was a factor. Brown was taken to LCCC.
