Police calls for Monday, July 30, 2018

Burglary

• At 11:30 a.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 16900 block of Point Lena Loop Road to investigate the report of a burglary. Investigation continues.

• At 1:06 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 8700 block of Trinity Drive to investigate the report of a burglary. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.

• At 6:44 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 8700 block of Haloff Way to investigate the report of a burglary. Investigation continues.

Conditions violation

• At 5:15 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a fight in the 200 block of Ferry Way and arrested Jeffrey Charles Garrison, 32, for disorderly conduct and violating conditions of release. Alcohol was a factor.

Disturbance

• At 9:04 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 6800 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 33-year-old man who reported he was threatened with a handgun by an unknown suspect during a road rage incident.

• At 4:53 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard to investigate the report of a disturbance following disorderly conduct. Investigation continues.

Domestic violence

• At 7:15 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested a juvenile for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 8:31 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1000 block of Tenth Street to investigate the report of a hit and run. No injuries were reported. Investigation continues.

Sex crime

• At 9:48 p.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Shoplifting

• At 3:04 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Front Street to investigate the report of a shoplift and theft from a local business. The theft was recorded on video. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 4:58 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Front Street to investigate the reported theft of a drone, worth an estimated $400, from a business in the downtown area. Investigation continues.

• At 11:40 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 3200 block of Hospital Drive to investigate the report of a 61-year-old man who reported the theft of a black trek bicycle.

• At 12:38 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1200 block of Salmon Creek Lane to investigate the report of theft from a medical facility. Investigation continues.

• At 1:06 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to Marine Way to investigate the report of a stolen credit card which was used at multiple locations after being stolen. Investigation continues.

• At 1:17 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report that a purse was stolen two days earlier.

• At 11:01 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 1400 block of Harbor Way to investigate the report of a theft of a kicker motor in the Aurora Harbor. Investigation continues.

Trespassing

• At 10:29 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested Chelsea Willis, 29, on Marine Way for criminal trespass and resisting arrest/interfering. Alcohol was a factor. Willis was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Vandalism

• At 7:56 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested Eric Rivera, 24, in the 100 block of Franklin Street for disorderly conduct. Alcohol was a factor. Rivera was taken to LCCC.

• At 7:56 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road to investigate the report of vandalism to a fuel line. Investigation continues.

Vehicle rifling

• At 4:25 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 8400 block of Steep Place to investigate the report of vehicle rifling. Investigation continues.

• At 6:21 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1400 block of Harbor Way to investigate the report of a 62-year-old man who reported a wallet, loose change and a jacket were stolen from inside a car.

• At 10:41 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1400 block of Harbor Way to investigate the report of a 49-year-old man who reported his car was rifled and items were stolen.

• At 10:41 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 4400 block of Mendenhall Boulevard to investigate the report of vehicle rifling and theft. Investigation continues.

• At 10:46 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1400 block of Harbor Way to investigate the report of a 72-year-old man who reported his car was rifled, but nothing of value was taken.

• At 11:54 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 9000 block of Cinema Drive to investigate the report that an estimated $550 was stolen from a car parked at Glacier Cinemas.

Warrant arrest

• At 5:29 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested Joshua Keith Mitchell, 29, in the 1800 block of Glacier Highway as a fugitive from justice charge stemming from a warrant in Washington. Mitchell was taken to LCCC and held without bail.

• At 10:15 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Phillip Drummer, 55, in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway on a $250 Alaska State Troopers warrant.
