Police calls for Monday, Oct. 22, 2018

Domestic violence

• At 7:09 p.m. Thursday, Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a fight between a 22-year-old man and a 50-year-old man in the Juneau area. No crime was determined to have occurred. Alcohol was involved.

• At 4:41 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report that a 39-yea-old woman had been assaulted in the Juneau area. Investigation continues. Alcohol was involved.

• At 10:42 a.m. Friday, a 34-year-old man reported the burglary of a storage unit in the 1000 block of Salmon Creek Lane. The building sustained about $2,000 in damage. Investigation continues.

Fight

• At 6:02 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of a fight between two people in the 300 block of Seward Street. Alcohol was involved.

Theft

• At 12:27 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report from a 61-year-old woman that her purse was stolen in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard. The purse was later recovered.

• At 3:22 p.m. Thursday, JPD continued investigation into the report of merchandise being stolen from a business in the 5400 block of Shaune Drive. An employee of the business later recovered the merchandise.

• At 7:50 p.m. Thursday, a 38-year-old man reported his camera was stolen from his home in the 2800 block of John Street.

• At 1:50 p.m. Thursday, a 43-year-old man called police to report his 2001 Chevrolet Tracker was stolen from the 1700 block of Crest Street.

Trespassing

• At 4:48 p.m. Thursday, a 40-year-old male in the 2400 block of Oday Drive reported that someone attempted to enter his home while he was not home.
