Burglary

• At 8:06 a.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 8300 block of Airport Boulevard to investigate the report of a commercial burglary. Investigation continues.

Conditions violation

• At 8:08 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Brett Padilla, 41, in the 200 block of Front Street for violating his conditions of release. Alcohol was a factor. Padilla was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 9:11 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 3800 block of Killewich Drive to investigate the report of a 42-year-old woman who reported the violation of a stalking protective order.

Death

• At 5:57 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 5800 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of an unattended death. Investigation continues. JPD Public Safety Manager Erann Kalwara said foul play is not suspected.

Domestic violence

• At 9:22 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested a 42-year-old woman in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault and one count of third-degree assault. Alcohol was a factor. She was taken to LCCC.

• At 3:22 a.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a 35-year-old man in the Juneau area for criminal mischief.

• At 1:09 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a 39-year-old woman who reported a conditions violation in the Juneau area.

• At 1:50 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the reported violation of a domestic violence protective order. Investigation continues.

• At 5:34 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Drug misconduct

• At 3:36 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of drug activity in the Juneau area.

• At 11:56 p.m. Thursday, JPD seized suspected drugs from a car in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road during a welfare check on a 34-year-old man in the car. JPD forwarded charges of drug possession to the District Attorney’s Office.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 1:32 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard to investigate the report of a 32-year-old woman who reported a hit and run.

• At 2:08 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 3200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate a single-vehicle rollover crash. Officers found that the driver had left the scene. Investigation continues.

Shoplifting

• At 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a theft. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 3:32 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a 53-year-old woman who reported the theft of a black and silver Kona bicycle in the downtown area.

• At 4:13 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 8000 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 60-year-old man who reported a theft.

• At 9:14 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Franklin Street to investigate the reported theft of a woman’s cellphone outside the Viking Bar. Alcohol was a factor.

• At 4:42 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1800 block of Northwood Drive to investigate the report of a theft that had happened previously.

Trespassing

• At 9:33 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of criminal trespass. Investigation continues.

Vandalism

• At 7:25 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1600 block of Douglas Highway to investigate the report of a 45-year-old woman who reported damage to her vehicle.

Vehicle rifling

• At 11:33 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Charity Berkley, 27, in the 200 block of Fourth Street for vehicle trespass, criminal mischief and violating conditions of release.

• At 9:32 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 3200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of a 51-year-old woman who reported the theft of a travel printer from inside her car. The printer is worth an estimated $450.

• At 7:11 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 3200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the reported theft of power and hand tools from a vehicle. Investigation continues.

Warrant arrest

• At 1:29 Wednesday, Alaska State Troopers arrested Juneau resident Victoria Shorty, 28, at her residence on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on the original charge of driving under the influence. Shorty was taken to LCCC and held on $250 bail.
