Police calls for Sunday, July 22, 2018

Assault

• At 3:06 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the Lemon Creek area to investigate the report of an assault. Investigation continues.

Conditions violation

• At 7:46 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested Patrick O’Brien, 25, on Lemon Creek Road for violating conditions of release. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Domestic violence

• At 2:59 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of criminal mischief domestic violence in the Juneau area that involved a broken window. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.

Drunken driving

• At 12:20 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested Nicholas Hohenstein, 23, in the 2400 block of Egan Drive for driving under the influence. His breath-alcohol content was measured at 0.123 percent. Hohenstein was taken to LCCC and his vehicle was impounded.

Fire alarm

• At 3:56 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Marine Way to investigate the report of malicious activation of a fire alarm. Investigation continues.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 5:13 p.m. Thursday, JPD and Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to the 100 block of Highland Drive to investigate the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a car and a bicyclist. The bicyclist was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Theft

• At 2:18 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 400 block of Willoughby Avenue to investigate the report of a stolen bike.

• At 8:29 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive to investigate the report of a theft that occurred at the Juneau International Airport. Investigation continues.

• At 8:13 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 3400 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 31-year-old woman who reported her vehicle was stolen.

Trespassing

• At 2:50 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested Katrina Fraker, 26, in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release. She was taken to LCCC.

Vandalism

• At 10:10 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 400 block of Spruce Lane to investigate the report of a 39-year-old woman who reported vandalism to her vehicle.

• At 10:58 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road to investigate the report of a 37-year-old man who reported vandalism to a business.

Vehicle rifling

• At 1:04 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to Wickersham Avenue to investigate the report of vehicle rifling in the area. Investigation continues.
