Domestic violence
• At 10:25 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department arrested a 29-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. The man was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
• At 1:50 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of domestic violence in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.
• At 10:23 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a theft that included domestic violence in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
Drug activity
• At 4:29 p.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted an investigation into drug activity in the Juneau area.
Motor vehicle crash
• At 12:48 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 8500 block of Old Dairy Road to investigate the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a car and a bicycle. A 73-year-old woman was driving the car and a 61-year-old woman was driving the bicycle. The bicyclist was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital and treated for what appeared to be minor injuries. Initial investigation of the scene, police say, showed the bicyclist was riding against the flow of traffic.
Sex crime
• At 1:07 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a possible sexual assault in the Juneau area.
• At 2:26 a.m. Thursday, JPD investigated the report of a sex crime in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor.
Suspicious activity
• At 12:28 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 2600 block of Douglas Highway to investigate the report of a suspicious person who had suspected stolen property on him. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.
Theft
• At 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 2300 block of Oday Drive to investigate the report of a woman, 53, who reported the theft of an Amazon package that was worth an estimated $30 from her mailbox.
• At 5:43 p.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated the report of a woman, 41, who reported a theft in the Juneau area.
• At 6:39 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 1800 block of Douglas Highway to investigate the report of a theft. Investigation continues.
Trespassing
• At 11:38 p.m. Wednesday, JPD cited and released Richard Scott, 57, in the 100 block of Franklin Street for criminal trespass.
Vandalism
• At 11:52 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 600 block of 12th Street to investigate the report of a man, 31, who reported the window of his vehicle had been broken out.
Wildlife violation
• On Thursday, Juneau-based Alaska State Troopers cited Juneau resident Kellie Windham, 42, for a false statement on a fishing license. Troopers found that Windham obtained a 2018 resident 5A sport fish and hunting license, but did not meet the requirements of that license. Troopers determined Windham made a false statement on the application to obtain the license. Windham was cited in the Juneau District Court and assessed a fine of $310.
