Burglary
• At 8:41 a.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 2900 block of Riverside Drive to investigate the report of a woman, 63, who reported items had been stolen from a business. Investigation continues.
Death
• At 8:51 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a death in the 5400 block of Douglas Highway. A 53-year-old Juneau man had died, JPD Public Safety Officer Erann Kalwara said. Foul play is not suspected. Investigation continues.
Domestic violence
• At 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested a 58-year-old man in the Juneau area for third-degree domestic violence assault.
Motor vehicle crash
• At 1:07 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of a motor vehicle crash. When JPD officers arrived, they cited Lisa Smith, 26, for driving without a license. Her vehicle was impounded. No injuries were reported.
Resisting/interfering with an officer
• At 3 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested Austin Hotch, 22, in the 9000 block of Long Run Drive for resisting or interfering with an officer. Hotch was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on a $500 cash bail.
Theft
• At 12:19 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 11300 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a woman, 21, who reported the theft of an estimated 100 gallons ($320) of heating fuel.
• At 12:19 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 3100 block of Dimond Park Loop to investigate the report of a man, 47, who reported a bicycle theft. Investigation continues.
• At 3:42 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 8500 block of Airport Boulevard to investigate the report of a man, 53, who reported the theft of four car batteries estimated to be worth $120.
• At 3:45 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of a girl, 12, who reported a bicycle theft. Investigation continues.
• At 6:39 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road to investigate the report of jewelry from a residence. Investigation continues.
• At 8:54 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 2500 block of Vista Drive to investigate the report of a woman, 43, who reported items had been stolen from her residence. Investigation continues.
Trespassing
• At 9:27 a.m. Tuesday, JPD cited and released Alan Jeffrey Lee, 32, in the 11100 block of Glacier Highway for criminal trespass.
