Assault

At 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, a 21-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- assault and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.

At 11:49 a.m. on Friday, a 55-year-old woman reported a 49-year-0ld man assaulted her in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway. Alcohol was a factor.

Conditions violation

At 8:04 p.m. on Friday, a 29-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence-criminal trespass and violating conditions of release and taken to LCCC.

At 8:34 a.m. on Saturday, a 33-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- unlawful contact and taken to LCCC.

Counterfeit/fraud

At 8:37 p.m. on Thursday, Juneau Police Department investigated a report of counterfeit currency in the 400 block of Whittier Street. Alcohol was a factor.

Death

At 9:50 a.m. on Saturday, JPD investigated a death in the 9000 block of Cinema Drive.

At 4:02 p.m. on Saturday, JPD investigated a death in the 800 block of 12th Street.

Driving while intoxicated

At 9:36 p.m. on Thursday, JPD. investigated a report of an intoxicated driver in the 6500 block of Egan Drive and determined the driver was not impaired.

At 3:50 p.m. on Friday, 60-year-old Jennie Laurena Knudson was arrested for driving under the influence and refusal in the 1600 block of Douglas Highway and taken to LCCC. The vehicle she was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

At 12:19 a.m. on Saturday, 61-year-old Alfred McKinley Jr. was cited and released for driving under the influence with a breath alcohol content of .069 on Egan Drive. Alcohol was a factor.

At 2:08 a.m. on Saturday, 32-year-old Eric Michael Choquette was arrested for driving under the influence with a breath alcohol content of .323 on Ferry Way and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

At 12:17 a.m. on Sunday, 23-year-old Richard Gordon Dundas was arrested for driving under the influence with a breath alcohol content of .169 and violating conditions of release on the 2300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

At 3:10 a.m. on Sunday, 46-year-old Douglas Harold Harris was cited and released for driving under the influence with a breath alcohol content of .174 in the 400 block of Main Street. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

Theft

At 6:32 p.m. on Friday, a 59-year-old woman reported the theft of her purse.

At 7:12 a.m. on Saturday, a 26-year-old male reported his Honda Accord stolen from the 300 block of Distin Avenue.

At 7:19 p.m. on Saturday, a 73-year-old man reported his skiff stolen from the 1000 block of Salmon Creek Lane. The skiff was recovered by missing the Yamaha outboard motor.

At 12:17 a.m. on Sunday, 31-year-old Daniel Arthur Gonzalez-Fawcett was cited and released for larceny in the 2300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

At 10:44 a.m. on Sunday, a 64-year-old woman reported her vehicle stolen the day before from the 10600 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. It was later determined the vehicle wasn’t stolen.

Traffic stop

At 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, 38-year-old Justin Wayne Ridinger was arrested for driving with a revoked license and violating conditions of release on the 36000 block of Glacier Highway. 33-year-old Chelsie Jean Nelson was arrested for a JPD warrant. Both were taken to LCCC. The vehicle Ridinger was driving was impounded.

At 7:41 p.m. on Thursday, 31-year-old Shanye Ian Howard was cited and released for driving without a valid license and violating conditions of release on the 300 block of Willoughby Drive. 27-year-old Shannon Jessica Kaye was arrested for JPD warrants and taken to LCCC.

Trespass

At 3:41 p.m. on Friday, 26-year old Domanic Peter Quick was arrested for criminal trespass in the 8400 block of Nugget Drive and taken to LCCC.

At 8 p.m. on Friday, a 46-year-old woman reported a 38-year-old woman had trespassed at a business in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

At 3:02 p.m. on Saturday,a 58-year-old man reported a 27-year-old man was trespassing at a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Vandalism

At 12:44 p.m. on Thursday, JPD received a report of a 71-year-old woman that punched a display case in the 1700 block of Glacier Avenue.
