Conditions violation

At 6:09 p.m. on Friday, Juneau Police Department investigated a report of unlawful contact.

Death

At 9:21 a.m. on Sunday, JPD investigated the death of a 50-year-old man in the 800 block of 12th Street. The death is not considered suspicious. Next of kin have been notified.

Driving while intoxicated

At 12:41 a.m. on Friday, 23-year-old Carrie Nadine Hope was arrested for driving under the influence with a breath alcohol content of .152 on Glacier Highway Access Road and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The vehicle she was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

At 3:23 a.m. on Sunday, 33-year-old Jaimie Brown Sekona was arrested for driving under the influence and refusal in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.

Fraud/forgery

At 1:09 p.m. on Thursday, counterfeit bills found in the 9400 block of Glacier Highway were turned into JPD.

Shoplift

At 8 p.m. on Thursday, a 38-year-old man reported a 44-year-old shoplifter on the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

At 11:58 p.m. on Thursday, a 59-year-old woman reported two 25-year-old women were shoplifting at a business in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

At 11:28 a.m. on Friday, 35-year-old Kenneth Charles Demmert was arrested for shoplifting from a local business and an Alaska State Troopers warrant in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway and taken to LCCC.

Theft

At 1:18 p.m. on Friday, a 60-year-old woman reported the theft of her jacket in the 8600 block of Teal Street.

At 11:12 p.m. on Friday, a 56-year-old man reported a guitar stolen from his residence in the 8700 block of Teal Street.

At 8:28 p.m. on Friday, a 40-year-old woman reported her Cadillac Escalade stolen from the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. The vehicle was later recovered.

Traffic hazard

At 11:42 p.m. on Thursday, JPD documented a light pole that fell into the roadway on the 100 block of Third Street.

At 1:29 a.m. on Sunday, a Chevy SUV that was impeding traffic in the 4000 block of Egan Drive was impounded.

Traffic stop

At 12:09 p.m. on Friday, 25-year-old Christine Grace Demmert was cited and released for driving with a revoked license in the 1200 block of Glacier Avenue. The vehicle she was driving was impounded.

At 10:18 p.m. on Saturday, a 53-year-old man was cited and released for driving without a license on the Glacier Highway Exercise Road.

At 10:56 p.m. on Saturday, 25-year-old Darryn Oscar Lee was arrested on an AST warrant in the 1300 block of Egan Drive and taken to LCCC.

Warrant arrest

At 9:10 a.m. on Friday, 20-year-old Curtis Anthony Stauss was arrested on AST warrants in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive and taken to LCCC.

At 9:29 a.m. on Saturday, 31-year-old Pavel Bogatko was arrested for seven JPD warrants on Ladd Street and taken to LCCC.
