Police calls for Tuesday, May 22, 2018

Assault

• At 5:04 p.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the Mendenhall Valley area to investigate the report of two subjects with warrants evading a traffic stop. Investigation continues.

Disorderly conduct

• At 3:32 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Naomi Weitzel, 42, in the 200 block of Marine Way for disorderly conduct.

• At 5:02 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Steven Lythgoe, 44, on Egan Drive for disorderly conduct. He was taken to LCCC in connection with two other cases.

Domestic violence

• At 8:57 p.m. Saturday, JPD investigated the reported violation of a domestic violence protective order in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

• At 11:38 a.m. Sunday, JPD investigated the report of a conditions violation in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

• At 3:41 p.m. Sunday, JPD investigated the report of a domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Drunken driving

• At 8:43 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested James Barton, 35, in the 4000 block of Delta Drive for driving under the influence. Barton gave a breath sample and his blood-alcohol content was measured at 0.267 percent. Barton was taken to LCCC and held on $1,000 bail.

• At 2:55 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Kyle Cain, 21, on Montana Creek Road for driving under the influence. Cain was taken to LCCC for violating conditions of release.

• At 11:51 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Joseph Uddipa, 48, in the 9000 block of Cinema Drive for driving under the influence. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

• At 12:21 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Larhonda Vonda, 34, on Lemon Creek Road for driving under the influence and refusing to submit to a chemical test. The car Vonda was driving was impounded.

Indecent exposure

• At 4:17 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Jerry Cropley, 54, in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road for second-degree indecent exposure. Alcohol was a factor.

Sex crime

• At 5:43 p.m. Saturday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a sexual assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 3:32 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 6500 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a woman, 53, who reported an acquaintance stole two rings worth an estimated $500 from her home.

• At 11:24 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a vehicle theft from 76 Egan Drive. Investigation continues.

• At 9:35 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 3400 block of Foster Avenue to investigate the report of a woman who reported gas siphoned from her vehicle.
