Assault
• At 3:35 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 5000 block of Douglas Highway to check on the welfare of a 36-year-old man and determined he might have been the victim of an assault.
• At 9:01 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Jacob Bean, 21, in the 200 block of Front Street for assault and criminal mischief. Alcohol was a factor.
• At 2:39 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Rafael Flores, 53, in the 100 block of Front Street for disorderly conduct.
Burglary
• At 2:31 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 2000 block of Jordan Avenue to investigate the report of a 69-year-old man who reported a burglary. Investigation continues.
Domestic violence
• At 11:04 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested a 52-year-old woman in the Juneau area for violating a protective order. The woman was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
• At 10:31 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested a 20-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor. The man was taken to LCCC.
• At 12:22 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 34-year-old man in the Juneau area for two counts of domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor.
• At 9:15 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 28-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault and domestic violence criminal mischief. Alcohol was a factor.
• At 8:16 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested a 30-year-old man in the Juneau area for violating a domestic violence protective order and for criminal trespass. He was taken to LCCC and held without bail.
Drunken driving
• At 11:52 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested Eric Brown, 47, in the downtown area for driving while intoxicated, refusing to take a chemical test and refusing to comply with a search warrant. The car he was driving was impounded. He was taken to LCCC.
Fraud
• At 2:31 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the report of a 44-year-old man who reported $20,000 was stolen from his bank account using a bank card. Investigation continues.
Motor vehicle crash
• At 4:11 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 1300 block of Eastaugh Way to investigate the report of a 60-year-old man who reported a hit and run. No injuries were reported.
Shoplifting
• At 1:31 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road to investigate the report of a theft from a business.
• At 3:28 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a theft from a business. Investigation continues.
• At 7:18 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 9300 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a theft of a custom wrought iron bench from a parking structure.
Theft
• At 12:35 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 11900 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a stolen boat trailer. Investigation continues.
• At 1:04 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 300 block of Ewing Way to investigate the report of a 53-year-old man who reported the theft of a yellow tablecloth and three bungee cords from his home.
• At 9:46 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 8200 block of Garnet Street to investigate the report of a 38-year-old woman who reported the theft of a yellow women’s suspension bike valued at an estimated $200 had been stolen from outside a home.
• At 11:18 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1400 block of Harbor Way to investigate the report of a theft. Investigation continues.
• At 2:10 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 3000 block of Dimond Park Loop to investigate the report of a stolen bike.
• At 2:19 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Marine Way to investigate the report of a 69-year-old woman who reported the theft of her iPad mini.
Trespassing
• At 3:28 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested Vanessa Anderson, 35, in the 4100 block of Aspen Avenue for criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Anderson was taken to LCCC.
• At 10:52 am. Friday, JPD responded to the 9300 block of La Perouse Avenue to investigate a report of trespassing.
• At 10:31 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Casey Muir, 32, in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release.
Vandalism
• At 4:07 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road to conduct a confidential investigation involving a child and damaged property.
• At 10:26 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 9700 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of damaged property at a business. Investigation continues.
Vehicle rifling
• At 3:15 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 2400 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of a 20-year-old man who reported property theft from his vehicle. Investigation continues.
