Arrest

At 12:26 a.m. on Sunday, 53-year-old Gavin Paul Martin was arrested in the 1200 block of F Street on a Juneau Police Department warrant for failure to appear for a pretrial conference hearing for the original charge of driving without a valid license. Martin was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 9:23 p.m. on Saturday, 36-year-old Rachael Jean Carlson was arrested in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway on a $100 Alaska State Troopers warrant for failure to appear for arraignment for second-degree custodial interference. Carlson was taken to LCCC.

Assist

At 12:27 p.m. on Thursday, a 17-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault and criminal mischief. He was taken to Johnson Youth Center.

At 3:44 a.m. on Sunday, JPD conducted an investigation into a hit and run in the 1200 block of Ninth Street.

Attempt to Serve

At 11:57 p.m. on Friday, 33-year-old Anthony Agnes was arrested in the 700 block of Ninth Street on aJPD warrant for failure to appear for a pretrial conference hearing for the original charge of assault. Agnes was taken to LCCC.

At 3:47 a.m. on Saturday, 23-year-old Jeremy Michael Olvit was arrested in the 9000 block of Cinema Drive on a $2000 AST warrant for petition to revoke probation violation on the original charge of second-degree theft and a $2,000 AST warrant for petition to revoke probation on the original charge of first-degree theft. Olvit was taken to LCCC.

Camping

At 8:39 a.m. on Saturday, 39-year-old Fernando Marinez was arrested in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard for criminal trespass and violating conditions of his release. He was later released.

Disturbance

At 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, JPD conducted an investigation into a reported assault in the 8700 block of Teal Street.

Driving While Intoxicated

At 12:22 a.m. on Saturday, 43-year-old Kyle William Manger was arrested in the 3200 block of Egan Drive for driving while under the influence. Manger was taken to LCCC and the 2019 Ford he was driving was impounded.

At 1:51 a.m. on Saturday, 28-year-old Ryan Travelstead was arrested in the 3200 block on Egan Drive on a $250 JPD warrant. Travelstead was taken to LCCC.

Fight

At 11:02 p.m. on Thursday, JPD responded to an altercation in the 100 block of Franklin Street. None of the parties wanted to pursue charges. It was determined that alcohol was a factor in this case.

Fraud

At 2:12 p.m. on Saturday, a 59-year-old man reported fraudulent activity involving his bank account in the Juneau area.

Motor Vehicle Crash Injury

At 3:07 p.m. on Friday, a 37-year-old woman driving a 2007 Toyota struck a 12-year-old boy in the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. The 12-year-old boy sustained minor injuries and was evaluated at the Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Shoplift

At 2:49 p.m. on Thursday, a 48-year-old woman reported a 27-year-old man had stolen multiple items in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Suspicious Activity

At 1:52 a.m. on Saturday, 35-year-old Jenna Leigh Blanton was arrested in the 100 block of Savikko Road on an outstanding $20,000 AST bench warrant for failure to appear for a jury trial for an original charge of third-degree misconduct involving controlled substances. Blanton was taken to LCCC.

Theft

At 3:02 p.m. on Thursday, a 60-year-old man reported a theft in the 1900 block of Allen Court.

At 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, a 59-year-old man reported a theft of property in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

At 6:26 a.m. on Sunday, a 22-year-old man reported his wallet stolen in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.

At 12:17 p.m. on Saturday, a 47-year-old man reported a theft of the gas cap from his gas can in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

At 2:41 p.m. on Saturday, JPD conducted an investigation into a report of employee theft in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Trespassing

At 12:21 p.m. on Thursday, 39-year-old Fernando Martinez was arrested in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road for criminal trespass. Martinez was taken to LCCC.

Traffic Hazard

At 4:01 p.m. on Thursday, 40-year-old Matthew Alexander Charles was arrested in the 8800 block of Egan Drive for disorderly conduct. He was taken to LCCC and it was determined that alcohol was a factor in this case.

At 3:46 p.m. on Friday, 60-year-old Priscilla Nancy Brown was arrested in the 100 block of Franklin Street for criminal trespass and for violating conditions of release. Brown was taken to LCCC and it was determined that alcohol was a factor in this case.

Traffic Stop

At 3:37 p.m. on Thursday, 37-year-old Charles Keith Wisner was arrested in the 1300 block of Egan Drive for driving while under the influence. The vehicle he was driving was impounded and Wisner was taken to LCCC.

At 10:43 p.m. on Friday, 41-year-old Hugo Alfredo Acosta Vanegas was arrested in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive for second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, driving without a valid license and for violating conditions of his release. The vehicle he was driving was impounded and Vanegas was taken to LCCC.

At 10:40 p.m. on Friday, 39-year-old Jonah Serafine Cole was arrested in the 11000 block of Glacier Highway for interfering. Cole was taken to LCCC on $500 bail.

At 3:11 a.m. on Saturday, 37-year-old Ernest Russell Rollins was arrested in the 700 block of Glacier Avenue for driving while under the influence. Rollins was taken to LCCC and the 2004 Chevrolet he was driving was impounded.

Vehicle Trespass

At 5:07 p.m. on Saturday, a 36-year-old woman reported $16,000 cash and a handgun stolen from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.
