Police calls for Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019

Arrest

• At 12:36 p.m. Thursday, Juneau Police Department arrested 42-year-old Melanie Celeste Whalen on Hospital Drive on an outstanding warrant. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 9:17 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested 34-year-old Johnathan Elmalih on the 100 block of Franklin Street on an outstanding warrant out of Florida. He was taken to LCCC and additionally charged with being a fugitive from justice.

Assault

• At 4:10 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested 42-year-old Heather Dawn Jim on the 200 block of Franklin Street for assault. She was taken to LCCC.

Car crash

• At 7:56 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a call on the 8100 block of Egan Drive to a report of a car crash. There were no reported injuries and one vehicle was towed from the scene.

Conditions violation

• At 6:02 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested 37-year-old Timothy James Ackerman on the 1200 block of Pike Court for violating conditions of release. He was taken to LCCC.

Disorderly conduct

• At 3:05 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested 36-year-old Vanessa Marie Anderson for disorderly conduct and violating conditions of release on the 100 block of Front Street. She was taken to LCCC.

• At 8:36 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested 56-year-old Janet Lynn Pickering for disorderly conduct. She was taken to LCCC.

Domestic violence

• At 2:31 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a 41-year-old man in the Juneau area for third-degree assault. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 3:45 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested a 51-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic assault. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 1:44 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 49-year-old man in the Juneau area on three counts of domestic assault. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 4:54p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 40-year-old man in the Juneau area for violating the conditions of a protective order and resisting arrest. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 10:34 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 25-year-old man in the Juneau area for criminal mischief. He was taken to LCCC.

Driving while intoxicated

• At 12:05 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested 57-year-old Patrick Lee Elisoff for driving while intoxicated. Elisoff was additionally arrested on two warrants, both for failure to report for electronic monitoring. Additionally, Elisoff was charged with refusing to submit to a chemical test and driving on a revoked license. The passenger, 46-year-old Pauline Stephanie Guanzon was arrested on a $100 JPD warrant for failure to appear on for arraignment on the original charge of driving while intoxicated. Elisoff and Guanzon were taken to LCC and the vehicle was impounded.

Theft

• At 12:15 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a call on the 800 block of Sixth Street where a man reported $300 worth of items missing from his vehicle.

• At 4:07 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a call on the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue where a 43-year-old man reported the theft of an 8-month-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier valued at $2,600.

• At 7:54 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a call on the 1600 block of Douglas Highway where a 38-year-old woman reported her gray, 2005 Ford Escape stolen.

Vandalism

• At 4:50 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a call on the 1900 block of Lemon Creek Road where a 39-year-old woman reported her property was vandalized, causing $3,000 in damage.
