Police calls for Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018

Assault

• At 4:05 p.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department took a 16-year-old boy to the Johnson Youth Center for second- and fourth-degree assault.

• At 9:37 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of an assault that occurred downtown with a sock filled with change. Investigation continues.

Burglary

• At 5:22 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 12100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a residential burglary. Investigation continues.

• At 10:28 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 700 block of Willoughby Avenue to investigate the report of a 49-year-old man who reported the theft of medication.

Conditions violation

• At 7 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested William Hinchman, 29, in the 1900 block of Lemon Creek Road for violating conditions of release and interfering with an officer. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.

Disturbance

• At 5:35 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue to investigate the report of a fight. Investigation continues.

Domestic violence

• At 6:49 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested a 26-year-old man in the Juneau area for one count of third-degree domestic violence assault and one count of fourth-degree domestic violence assault. The man was taken to LCCC.

• At 12:47 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 32-year-old woman in the Juneau area for assault. Alcohol was a factor. She was taken to LCCC.

• At 1:51 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 47-year-old woman in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor. She was taken to LCCC.

• At 10:56 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of domestic violence assault in the Juneau area.

Drug misconduct

• At 3:53 p.m. Friday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of drug activity in the Juneau area.

Drunken driving

• At 3:17 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Thomas Johnnie Jr., 34, in the 3300 block of Egan Drive for driving under the influence. His car was impounded and he was taken to LCCC.

• At 3:57 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a motor vehicle crash in the 25000 block of Glacier Highway. An injury was reported, and alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 2:24 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 400 block of Gold Street to investigate the hit and run of two vehicles.

Sex crime

• At 1:28 p.m. Friday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a reported sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Shoplifting

• At 11 a.m. Saturday, JPD cited and released Ernesto Camacho, 36, in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road, for shoplifting.

• At 1:56 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Timothy Ebona, 41, in the 100 block of Franklin Street for larceny and violating conditions of release. Alcohol was a factor. He was taken to LCCC.

Theft

• At 1:20 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to Dredge Lake Road to investigate the report of a stolen HP Inspiron laptop. Investigation continues.

• At 2:02 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 9100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a theft from a business in the Mendenhall Valley. The suspect, a woman, took a piece of clothing that was worth an estimated $30 and refused to pay.

• At 8:32 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 300 block of Whittier Street to investigate the report of a theft. Investigation continues.

Trespassing

• At 1:14 p.m. Friday, JPD cited and released Vanessa Anderson, 35, on Shattuck Way for trespassing.

• At 3:55 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Richard Scott, 58, in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue for criminal trespassing. Scott was taken to LCCC and held on $200 bail.

• At 4:14 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road to investigate the report of trespassing and theft. Investigation continues.

Vehicle rifling

• At 10:57 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 5500 block of Thane Road to investigate the report of a 59-year-old woman who reported her vehicle was rifled and an estimated $15 worth of items were stolen.

• At 12:35 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 37000 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the reports of vehicle rifling, vandalism and check fraud. Investigation continues.

• At 2:49 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a 22-year-old woman who reported a theft from her vehicle. Investigation continues.

Warrant arrest

• At 1:24 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Lisa Kuhr, 45, in the 800 block of Dixon Street for three outstanding warrants. Kuhr was also charged with criminal mischief for cutting off her ankle monitor. Alfred McKinley, 59, was arrested for interfering with an arrest by hiding Kuhr in a cupboard. Alcohol was a factor.
