Assault

At 4:02 a.m. on Sunday, a 56-year-old woman was arrested for assault in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

At 1:18 p.m. on Sunday, a 61-year-old man reported an assault in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

At 10:57 p.m. on Sunday, a 37-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence-assault and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

Conditions violation

At 10:28 p.m. on Saturday, a 55-year-old. man was arrested for violating a domestic violence protective order, unlawful contact and violating conditions of release and taken to LCCC.

Death

At 10:07 a.m. on Sunday, JPD investigated the death of a 74-year-old man in the 4100 block of Taku Boulevard. The death is not considered suspicious, and the next of kin have been notified.

Driving while intoxicated

At 2:47 a.m. on Sunday, 62-year-old Marcus Pete Martin was arrested for driving under the influence in the 12200 block of Mendenhall Loop Road and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

Shoplift

At 4:49 p.m. on Saturday, a 49-year-old woman reported a shoplift from a business in the 3000 block of Shell Simmons Drive.

Traffic stop

At 1:17 p.m. on Saturday, 30-year-old Ofa Ki Mataki Kivalu was cited and released for violating his conditions of release in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

At 10:27 a.m. on Sunday, a 2006 Subaru in the 200 block of Behrends Avenue was impounded.

At 7:19 p.m. on Sunday, 69-year-old Michael Earl Mann was arrested for driving with a revoked license and resisting arrest in the 10000 block of Glacier Highway and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

At 8:13 p.m. on Sunday, 24-year-old Andrew Tafiele was cited for failure to yield and driving without a license in the 6600 block of Glacier Highway.

Trespassing

At 3:24 p.m. on Sunday, 45-year-old Adam Poprycz was cited and released for criminal trespass and larceny on the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

At 7:25 p.m. on Sunday, JPD responded to a report of a trespass on a private residence in the 8500 block of Jennifer Drive.

Vandalism

At 9:09 a.m. on Sunday, JPD investigated a report of vandalism to doors and windows in the 9000 block of Cinema Drive.

Warrant arrest

At 10 a.m. on Sunday, 39-year-old Donald Ray Hosier Jr. was arrested for an outstanding $5,000 warrant on the 1000 block of Salmon Creek Lane and taken to LCCC.
