Police calls for Wednesday, July 10, 2019

Crash

• At 4:08 p.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 500 block of Franklin Street where a vehicle crash was reported. The vehicles involved were a 2019 Toyota Camry driven by a 50-year-old woman and a 2001 Dodge Neon driven by a 56-year-old man.

Domestic violence

• At 4:59 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report from a 36-year-old woman who said a 63-year-old man had been assaulted by a 30-year-old man.

Failure to appear

• At 12:36 a.m Sunday, JPD arrested 42-year-old Candice Lynn Rourick on two counts of failure to appear in court for previous charges of larceny, trespassing and giving false information. Rourick was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Theft

• At 10:20 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 2000 block of Skaters Cabin Road to a report of stolen camping gear.

• At 10:47 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 8400 block of Airport Boulevard to a report of stolen checks.

• At 1:53 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report on the 8100 block of Glacier Hwy that a 58-year-old woman had her wallet stolen from inside a business.

Vandalism

• At 7:13 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the a 25-year-old woman reporting damage to her vehicle on Egan Drive.

• At 9:03 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 3000 block of Dimond Park Loop where a 61-year-old man reported broken glass inside his building causing an estimated $3000 in damage.

• At 1:16 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 1400 block of 2nd Street where a 41-year-old man reported damage to his 2012 Toyota Tundra. The cause of the damage remains unknown.

• At 3:35 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 12700 block of the Douglas Highway where a 64-year-old man reported damage to his 1997 Ford pickup truck.

Vehicle rifling

• At 1:16 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report on the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue that a 73-year-old woman had her wallet was stolen from inside her car.

• At 3:14 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 9900 block of Stephen Richard Memorial Drive where a 31-year-old man reported items stolen from his vehicle.
