Assault
• At 4:50 p.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of assault in the 1700 block of Douglas Highway. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.
• At 9:38 p.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of an attempted assault in the 11400 block of Auke Bay Harbor Road. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.
Death
• At 5:31 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the apparent natural death of a an 87-year-old woman in the 3300 block of Fritz Cove Road.
Domestic violence
• At 11:54 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested a 26-year-old person for a domestic violence assault on a 32-year-old woman in the Juneau area.
Drug activity
• At 3:37 a.m. Sunday, JPD created a case for drug activity after a backpack was found near Frontier Suites in the 9400 block of Glacier Highway.
Drunken driving
• At 2:57 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Janelle Hoover, 47, for driving while intoxicated in the 2400 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. Hoover provided a breath sample of .341 percent alcohol concentration.
• At 1:29 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Betty Parr, 33, for driving under the influence in the 3500 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. Parr blew a .228 percent alcohol concentration and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
• At 12:02 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Michael Windred, 54, for driving under the influence in the 200 block of Whittier Street. Windrew blew a .119 percent alcohol concentration and was taken to LCCC.
Fire and medical
• On Friday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to six EMS calls, three transport calls and one request for public assistance.
• On Saturday, CCFR responded to 14 EMS calls, two burn complaints, one smoke complaint, one transport, one structure fire and one false fire alarm.
• On Sunday, CCFR responded to nine EMS calls, two transport calls, one burn complaint and one false fire alarm.
• On Monday, CCFR responded to nine EMS calls, two burn complaints and one smoke complaint.
Motor vehicle crash
• At 4:34 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited Stephanie Dalton, 19, for striking a pedestrian after failing to yield in the 6200 block of Glacier Highway at a crosswalk near Alaway Avenue.
• At 10:06 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a single-car collision into a light pole in the 100 block of Main Street.
Open lewdness
• At 10:26 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Frank White, 54, for open lewdness and disorderly conduct on Egan Drive. He was taken to LCCC and held in lieu of a $100 bail. Alcohol was involved.
• At 10:26 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Virginia John-Daniels, 56, for open lewdness on Egan Drive. Alcohol was involved.
Sex abuse
• At 3:43 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of sex abuse of a minor in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
Shoplifting
• At 12:31 p.m. Sunday, JPD cited and released Leon Paul, 29, for shoplifting $84.98 worth of merchandise from the Fred Meyer store in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.
Theft
• At 11:46 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a stolen generator from a boat in the 1400 block of Harbor Way. Investigation continues.
• At 3:22 p.m. Saturday, a 22-year-old woman reported her iPhone was stolen in the 200 block of Front Street. Alcohol was involved.
• At 9:38 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of stolen services from a business in the 9200 block of Glacier Highway. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.
• At 4:52 a.m. Sunday, a 24-year-old woman reported the theft of a purse on Sealaska Plaza. Alcohol was involved.
• At 10:53 a.m. Sunday, a resident reported vicodin pills were stolen in the Juneau area.
• At 1:12 p.m. Sunday, a man reported the theft of a firearm from his residence in the 7100 block of Glacier Highway.
Trespassing
• At 2:48 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of criminal trespassing in the 1000 block of Glacier Avenue. Investigation continues.
• At 6:37 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited and released Dirk Daugherty, 35, for criminal trespassing at a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Avenue.
Vehicle rifling
• At 12:08 p.m. Sunday, JPD received a report than an unknown person took $8,000 to $10,000 worth of tools from a truck in the 11400 block of Auke Bay Harbor Road.
• At 10:34 a.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 300 block of Village Street. Investigation continues.
