Assault

• At 2:35 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department arrested Eric Sele, 26, in the 2200 block of Trout Street for assault.

• At 10:10 a.m. Sunday, JPD investigated a report of an assault on Egan Drive.

• At 5:31 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of an assault.

• At 2:20 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Charles Grosvold, 44, on Kiowa Drive for assault and driving under the influence. Grosvold allegedly punched a woman in the face, then drove away from the scene while intoxicated. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Burglary

• At 12:04 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 5400 block of Commercial Boulevard to investigate the report of a burglary. Investigation continues.

• At 8:30 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 3600 block of Amalga Street to investigate the report of a burglary. Investigation continues.

• At 5:24 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 300 block of Distin Avenue to investigate the report of a burglary.

• At 11:06 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 1600 block of Salmon Creek Lane to investigate the report of a burglary.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 7:59 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of harm in the Juneau area.

• At 1:15 p.m. Saturday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of harm in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Conditions violation

• At 12:23 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested Shauna Velasco, 28, in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway for violating conditions of release. Velasco was taken to LCCC and held on $1,000 bail.

Domestic violence

• At 6:56 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a 37-year-old man in the Juneau area for assault and criminal mischief. Alcohol was a factor. The man was taken to LCCC and held without bail.

• At 9:49 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a 31-year-old woman in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor. The woman was taken to LCCC and held without bail.

Drug activity

• At 3:38 p.m. Saturday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into drug activity in the Juneau area.

Drunken driving

• At 2:57 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Mark Knott, 46, in the 6500 block of Egan Drive for felony driving under the influence, refusing to submit to a chemical test and avoidance of an ignition interlock device. Knott was taken to LCCC and held without bail. His vehicle was impounded.

• At 12:13 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Micaiah R. Stark, 29, on Highland Drive for driving under the influence.

Fraud

• At 2:58 p.m. Friday, JPD assisted another agency in retrieving counterfeit $100 bills in the 5500 block of Aisek Street.

• At 10:24 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 2500 block of Industrial Boulevard to investigate the fraudulent use of an out-of-state driver’s license. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 1:10 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road to investigate a motor vehicle crash where a 1994 Ford pickup ran into a 2000 Mazda four-door car, which caused minor injuries to the driver of the Mazda.

• At 8:27 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 5700 block of Concrete Way to investigate the report of a hit and run. Investigation continues.

• At 7:33 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 1300 block of Third Street to investigate a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported. Investigation continues.

• At 9:52 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue to investigate the report of a hit and run on private property.

Sex crime

• At 5:12 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the report of a sexual assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 3:20 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 2500 block of Channel Drive to investigate the report of a woman, 41, who reported gas siphoning from a company vehicle.

• At 8:59 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 9300 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a woman, 25, who reported a package had possibly been taken from her mailbox. The package is worth an estimated $71.

• At 3:42 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report that business equipment was reported stolen.

• At 6:12 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 9200 block of James Boulevard to investigate the report of a vehicle theft. The vehicle was later recovered and returned to the owners.

• At 12:33 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 8400 block of Canyon Drive to investigate the report of larceny. Investigation continues.

Trespassing

• At 9:56 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Thomas M. Berner, 63, in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive for two counts of criminal trespass at the Juneau International Airport.

• At 10:43 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of theft and criminal trespass. Investigation continues.

• At 2:53 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Arthur Olson, 33, in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway for criminal trespass and concealment of merchandise. Olson was taken to LCCC.

Vehicle rifling

• At 10:06 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road to investigate the report that several vehicles had been rifled in the night.

• At 10:44 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to Fifth Street to investigate the report of a man, 23, who reported his green Honda Civic was rifled through. He reported his black backpack, black Marmot coat, black hardware pants and bluetooth speaker as stolen.

Warrant arrest

• At 8:34 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Brandon Bowhey, 37, in the 4300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road on a $150 probation violation warrant. He was taken to LCCC.
