Assault

At 1:55 a.m. on Sunday, 42-year-old Garrett Ralston Derr was arrested for assault, misconduct involving weapons, and a JPD warrant in the 3700 block of El Camino Street and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Conditions violation

At 7:27 a.m. on Monday, JPD investigated a report of a 49-year-old man who is non-compliant with the sex offender registry in the 300 block of Whittier Street.

Death

At 7:27 a.m. on Sunday, JPD investigated the death of a 44-year-old woman in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. The death is not considered suspicious and the next of kin has been notified.

Driving while intoxicated

At 6:20 p.m. on Sunday, 53-year-old Leon Venton Cain was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a breath-alcohol content of .284 and violating conditions of release in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

At 12:44 a.m. on Monday, a 36-year-old man was arrested for driving while under influence, criminal mischief, violating conditions of release, an Alaska State Troopers warrant, and a JPD warrant and taken to LCCC.

Found property

At 5:54 p.m. on Saturday, a bus pass was found.

Indecent exposure

At 11:55 a.m. on Sunday, 38-year-old Matthew Alexander Charles was arrested for indecent exposure on Egan Drive and taken to LCCC.

Motor vehicle crash

At 5:11 p.m. on Saturday, a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old woman struck a vehicle driven by a 59-year-old woman in the 8500 block, doing $15,000 in damage between both vehicles. The 20-year-old woman was cited for careless driving.

At 9:47 a.m. on Monday, a city bus struck a vehicle, damaging it in the 1000 block of Glacier Avenue.

Theft

At 9:14 a.m. on Sunday, a 50-year-old woman reported a white Chevy Silverado stolen from the 10000 block of Crazy Horse Drive.

At 2:19 p.m. on Sunday, 41-year-old Keith Patrick Coogan was arrested for theft in the second degree, criminal trespass and violation of conditions of release in the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard.

At 11:39 a.m. on Monday, a 28-year-old man reported a laptop and tablet were stolen from his vehicle in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.

Trespassing

At 12:11 p.m. on Saturday, 58-year-old Robert Rineheart was arrested for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release in the 200 block of Marine Way and taken to LCCC.

Vandalism

At 7:55 p.m. on Saturday, a 36-year-old old man reported vandalism to a vehicle on Ferry Way.

Warrant arrest

At 11:21 p.m. on Saturday, 39-year-old Kevin Jeremy Belcourt was arrested on an AST warrant in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive and taken to LCCC.
