Police calls for Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018

Assault

• At 8:39 a.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of a 33-year-old woman who reported an assault.

• At 11:12 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Kathryn Grace Arnst, 37, in the 700 block of Ninth Street for assault. Arnst was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 11:43 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Egan Drive to investigate the report of a 61-year-old man who reported he was assaulted.

Burglary

• At 11:43 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive to investigate the report of a 70-year-old man who reported the burglary of his residence.

• At 8:22 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 10300 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 74-year-old man who reported a burglary of a construction office trailer.

Criminal mischief

• At 3:54 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Ronald Skoog, 34, in the Juneau area for criminal mischief involving parked vehicles. Alcohol was a factor. Skoog was taken to LCCC and held on $1,000 bail.

Domestic violence

• At 6:09 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the reported violation of a domestic violence protective order. Investigation continues.

• At 8:55 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested a 25-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence criminal mischief. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 2:24 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested a 28-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor. The man was taken to LCCC.

Drunken driving

• At 6 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Deryk Paul Lepoidevin, 34, in the 6800 block of Glacier Highway for driving under the influence. The vehicle Lepoidevin was driving was impounded and he was taken to LCCC.

Theft

• At 12:02 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the area of Egan Drive to investigate the report of a theft.

• At 9:51 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 8700 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 55-year-old man who reported his 1995 Ford F150 truck stolen.

• At 9:16 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 3100 block of Douglas Highway to investigate the report of a 71-year-old man who reported his 1992 Ford Explorer was stolen.

Trespassing

• At 10 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue to investigate the report of a 36-year-old woman, a 27-year-old man and a 42-year-old man sleeping in a vehicle in a business parking lot.

Wildlife violations

• On Nov. 8, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Juneau man Austin Sollars, 33, in Admiralty Island’s Prybus Bay for not validating harvest tickets and for not having a personal use king crab permit. Troopers found that Sollars had several red king crab and didn’t have a personal-use permit as required. He was issued three $160 citations and has a mandatory court appearance in Juneau District Court.

• On Nov. 16, Alaska Wildlife Troopers issued a criminal summons to Juneau man Cyril Zuboff, 61, for trying to shoot a deer from a boat. Zuboff has a mandatory court appearance in Juneau District Court and the rifle he was using was seized.
