Police & Fire for Friday, Dec. 30, 2016

Burglary

• At 1:24 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a residential burglary and vehicle theft in the 8600 block of Evergreen Park Road.

• At 4:10 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a burglary of a business in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

Domestic violence

• At 10:54 a.m. Monday, a 53-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault and criminal mischief. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Unknown if alcohol was involved.

• At 12:27 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a domestic dispute. Alcohol was involved.

Fire and medical

• On Wednesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to six EMS calls around town througout the day and one medical transport call.

Mental subject

• At 12:59 a.m. Monday, JPD received information regarding a mental subjet. Information only.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 1:48 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a damage-only motor vehicle crash in the 500 block of Nelson Street.

Theft

• At 7:29 p.m. Monday, JPD investigated a theft of $50 from a person in the 3100 block of Dimond Park Loop.

• At 8:51 p.m. Monday, JPD investigated a reported theft. Domestic violence related. Alcohol was involved.

• At 6:14 a.m. Tuesday, a 21-year-old man reported the theft of items from his unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Gastineau Avenue.

Trespassing

• At 11:12 a.m. Tuesday, Jeffrey Carpenter, 56, was cited and released for criminal trespass in the 3400 block of Glacier Highway.

Vandalism

• At 8:04 p.m. Monday, JPD investigated the vandalism of a vehicle in the 3100 block of Dimond Park Loop.

• At 11:08 a.m. Tuesday, a 55-year-old woman reported the door handle to her vehicle was broken sometime since Sunday in the 200 block of Gastineau Avenue.

Vehicle trespass

• At 6:57 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 200 block of Seventh Street.
