Assault

• At 8:38 a.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of an assault at Sealaska Plaza. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.

Burglary

• At 7:52 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of an attempted burglary of a residence in the 500 block of Franklin Street.

Counterfeit money

• At 2:31 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of an unsuccessful attempt to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at a business in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

Fight

• At 5:18 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a reported fight in front of a building in the 200 block of Franklin Street. Alcohol was involved.

Shoplifting

• At 3:54 p.m. Wednesday, JPD cited Israel Sanchez for larceny in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 6:57 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of shoplifting and trespass at a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Theft

• At 1:09 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report regarding the theft of contact lenses worth an estimated $87 from a residence in the 2500 block of Scott Drive. Investigation continues.

• At 6:24 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of the theft of heating fuel from a residence in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 9:40 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of a theft from a business in the 5300 block of Commercial Boulevard.

Vandalism

• At 8:12 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of vandalism to a mailbox in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

Vehicle theft

• At 2:27 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report that a 90cc Yamaha motorcycle had been stolen from a locked building in the 1400 block of Lemon Creek Road. Investigation continues.
