Car accident
• At 3:08 a.m. Saturday, a 1998 Chevy pickup truck skidded into a ditch in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway, and the vehicle’s occupants ran away. Alcohol was involved in the crash.
Domestic violence
• At 1:47 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Keoko Nelson, 27, for domestic violence assault and criminal trespass in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue. Police took her to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Hit and run
• At 2:19 Friday a 50-year-old woman reported that her car had been hit while parked in the Mendenhall Valley Bullwinkle’s lot.
Theft
• At 2:58 p.m. Friday a 90-year-old woman reported to police that a woman she didn’t know tried to take her purse.
• At 3:58 p.m. Friday, a 61-year-old man reported to police that his bicycle had been stolen from the 1600 block of Fritz Cove Road.
