Assault

• At 2:17 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report by a 47-year-old man in the 5400 block of Shaune Drive that he had been assaulted by a 41-year-old man.

• At 2:43 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a reported assault in the 10600 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

• At 5:09 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to an assault in the 300 block of Franklin Street and arrested Bethany Kunkle, 31, on three counts of assault, one count of criminal mischief, one count of resisting an officer and one count of harassment; she was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 7:08 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a reported assault in the Lemon Creek area.

• At 2:53 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report from a 35-year-old man in the 100 block of Franklin Street that he had been punched in the face and then kicked in the stomach.

Burglary

• At 11:47 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of an attempted burglary of a residence in the 600 block of Basin Road.

• At 2:56 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of a burglary in the 500 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Counterfeit money

• At 10:50 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of the passing of a counterfeit $50 at a business in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway.

Drug activity

• At 9:47 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of drug activity in the 4000 block of Granite Drive; investigation continues.

Fire and medical

• On Thursday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to eight EMS calls and one medical transport in the area throughout the day.

Joy riding

• At 8:43 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of joy riding in the 2400 block of Industrial Boulevard; the claim proved to be unfounded.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 10:57 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 6000 block of Egan Drive and arrested Aaron James Ettinger, 23, for resisting arrest and violating conditions of release; he was taken to LCCC.

• At 3:07 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 900 block of Egan Drive; investigation continues into driving under the influence.

Shoplifting

• At 1:31 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report from the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

• At 1:33 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report from the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.

• At 3:04 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a theft from a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 8:19 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 8:51 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 4:50 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report in the 400 block of Franklin Street and took Rayna Sarabia, 43, to LCCC on a remand; she also was charged with larceny.

• At 7:21 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report in the 400 block of Franklin Street.

Theft

• At 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report from a 49-year-old woman in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway regarding the theft of four tires.

• At 9:06 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a theft report in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

• At 10:18 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report from a 67-year-old woman in the 4500 block of Kanata Street regarding the theft of a license plate from her vehicle.

• At 5:12 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report that a storage unit had been broken into in the 100 block of Marine Way.

Trespassing

• At 12:21 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a trespassing report on Egan Drive and arrested Vivian Wright, 23, for criminal trespass.

• At 6:07 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested Oleksandr Kryvorushko, 29, for criminal trespass in the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road and took him to LCCC.

Vandalism

• At 11:53 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of vandalism in the 400 block of Harris Street.

• At 11:35 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of vandalism to a residence in the 1700 block of Dimond Drive.

• At 7:21 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report on vandalism to a vehicle window in the 1000 block of Coogan Drive.

Vehicle rifling

• At 7:55 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report from a 57-year-old woman in the 200 block of Behrend Avenue that her unlocked vehicle had been rifled through.
