• At 12:11 p.m. Tuesday, Juneau Police Department assisted another agency in the 8700 block of Trinity Drive.
Child abuse/neglect
• At 2:39 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of child abuse in the Juneau area. Confidential investigation continues.
Criminal trespassing
• At 1:34 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Tyler Leathem, 24, for criminal trespassing in the 3000 block of Dimond Park Loop.
• At 7:14 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a trespass in the 3400 block of Glacier Highway.
Driving under the influence
• At 12:14 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a person driving under the influence. Investigation continues.
Sex crime
• At 3:55 p.m. Monday, JPD received a confidential report of sexual abuse of a minor in the Juneau area.
• At 1:25 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a sexual assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.
Shoplifting
• At 9:06 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested Richard Ritter Jr. in the 400 block of Whittier Street for shoplifting $13.99 worth of merchandise. He was cited and released. Alcohol was involved.
• At 1:03 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of theft from the Breeze In store in the 2200 block of Trout Street. Investigation continues.
• At 10 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of shoplifting in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. Investigation continues.
Vehicle rifling
• At 2:59 p.m. Tuesday, a 28-year-old man reported his unlocked vehicle in the 10100 block of Bentwood Place was rifled.
