Police & Fire for Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016

Burglary

• At 1:44 p.m. Friday, JPD investigated a burglary in the 8500 block of Valley Boulevard.

Car crash

• At 4:49 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a car crash in the 100 block of Seward Street. No injuries were reported.

• At 9:28 p.m. Sunday, a 47-year-old man reported a hit-and-run traffic accident. The man’s vehicle, a 2006 Dodge, suffered $500 in damage in the 2200 block of Trout Street.

Child abuse

• At 5:40 p.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of child abuse.

Domestic dispute

• At 12:10 a.m. Saturday, JPD investigated a report of domestic violence assault. Alcohol was involved.

• At 1:45 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 21-year-old for domestic violence assault and took the person to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 6 p.m. Saturday, JPD investigated a domestic dispute.

Drunken driving

• At 7:08 p.m. Friday, 37-year-old Kelley Demars was taken to LCCC for drunken driving in the 2000 block of Skaters’ Cabin Road. Her vehicle, a 2006 Chevy, was impounded.

• At 11:29 p.m. Sunday, 19-year-old Judith Earl was taken to LCCC for drunken driving and reckless endangerment in the 5200 block of Glacier Highway. Her vehicle, a 1997 Toyota, was impounded.

Fire/ambulance calls

• On Wednesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to six calls for advanced life support and two medical transport calls.

Fraud

• At 2:09 p.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of counterfeit bills being used at a business in the 5700 block of Concrete Way.

Harassment

• At 10:21 p.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of harassment in the 100 block of Front Street. Alcohol was involved.

Theft

• At 12:31 p.m. Friday, 28-year-old Zachary Stubblefield was arrested for shoplifting in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway. he was taken to LCCC.

• At 12:57 p.m. Friday, a 64-year-old woman reported her grandson’s black Casio G-Shock wristwatch was taken in the 3100 block of Dimond Park Loop.

• At 2:05 p.m. Friday, John Kobbe was cited and released for theft in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 6:29 p.m. Friday, 42-year-old Rayna Sarabia was cited and released for stealing $53 of merchandise from Sportsman’s Warehouse.

• At 4:54 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a theft from a vehicle on Gastineau Avenue.

• At 11:40 a.m. Saturday, JPD investigated a report of stolen mail and packages.

• At 2:45 p.m. Saturday, JPD investigated a report of shoplifting in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 3:08 p.m. Saturday, a 60-year-old man reported his brown briefcase stolen in the 1200 block of Glacier Avenue.

• At 2:22 p.m. Sunday, a 63-year-old woman reported $270 in items stolen from her carport in the 12100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 7:14 p.m. Sunday, a 54-year-old man reported someone stole his 1979 red Honda XL250 Model ‘S’ dirt bike in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Trespassing

• At 3:52 a.m. Sunday, JPD investigated a report of criminal trespassing in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Alcohol was involved.

• At 9:15 a.m. Sunday, an unknown person, likely related to the Grinch, entered several vehicles in the 300 block of Distin Avenue and rifled them.

• At 1:34 a.m. Monday, 20-year-old River Parrish was transported to LCCC for criminal trespass at the hospital.

• At 8:16 a.m. Monday, a 77-year-old woman reported her unlocked vehicle was rifled, and items were stolen.

Vandalism

• At 2:46 p.m. Friday, JPD investigated a report of vandalism to a mailbox and post in the 10600 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 8:03 p.m. Saturday, a 77-year-old person reported that someone had knocked over their decorative light pole in the 8300 block of Gladstone Street, causing approximately $150 in damage.

• At 12:05 p.m. Sunday, a 56-year-old woman reported her vehicle’s driver-side window was smashed by a rock while parked at Dimond Park.

Warrant arrest

• At 4:50 p.m. Saturday, 36-year-old Jerimiah Houston was arrested in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway on three $100 warrants.
