Assault

• At 1:21 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a minor being assault. Domestic. Investigation continues.

• At 7:29 p.m. Friday, Harris Wood, 62, was arrested for assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at Bartlett Regional Hospital in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.

Attempt to serve

• At 9:39 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 6200 block of Alaway Avenue in attempt to serve an unspecified document or action. A case was created for safekeeping of property.

• At 11:42 p.m. Friday, Jamie Tompkins, 26, was arrested on an outstanding $2,000 Alaska State Trooper warrant and was taken to LCCC.

Conditions violation

• At 1:11 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a noise complaint in the 8500 block of Nugget Place, and Myron Speller, 25, was remanded on a probation condition violation. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

Criminal mischief

• At 7:39 p.m. Thursday, a 29-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence related criminal mischief.

Criminal trespass

• At 4:33 p.m. Thursday, George Nelson, 49, was arrested for criminal trespass at a building in the 100 block of Franklin Street. He was later released on his own recognizance. Alcohol was involved.

• At 11:57 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a trespass call in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues into an alleged probation violation.

• At 9:01 a.m. Friday, George Nelson, 49, was cited and released for criminal trespass at a business in the 100 block of Front Street. Alcohol was involved.

Instructional permit violation

• At 10:06 a.m. Sunday, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a red 1994 Jeep Cherokee for equipment violations and cited the driver, 18-year-old Zachary Peterson, for driving in violation of his instructional permit. He was issued a citation.

Minor consuming

• At 2:22 p.m. Friday, Trenton Simonson, 19, was cited and released for minor consuming in the 100 block of Marine Way.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 7:41 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a single vehicle crash on Egan Drive at the Lemon Creek bridge. The driver, a 26-year-old man, sustained minor injuries. The vehicle sustained about $3,000 worth of damage and was towed from the scene.

• At 1:05 p.m. Friday, a 55-year-old man reported his vehicle had been struck sometime the evening prior in the 700 block of Ninth Street. Damage was reported to the front bumper.

• At 3:33 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a minor motor vehicle accident in a parking lot in the 3000 block of Dimond Park Loop.

Sexual assault

• At 12:32 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a sexual assault. Confidential investigation continues.

• At9:02 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a sex crime in the 7100 block of Glacier Highway. Confidential investigation continues.

Shoplifting

• At 2:14 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a 27-year-old shoplifting in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 2:24 p.m. Thursday, a 26-year-old man reported two bicycles were stolen from a business in the 300 block of Whittier Street. Information only.

• At 1:45 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of theft of numerous tools sometime between Nov. 15 and Jan. 11 from a residence in the 100 block of Sitka Street. Investigation continues.

• At 4:17 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a 21-year-old woman stealing $400 from a 23-year-old man in the 300 block of South Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

• At 10:35 p.m. Friday, an 18-year-old man reported his Jordan Eclipse basketball shoes, valued at $200, were stolen from Juneau-Douglas High School in the 3100 block of Dimond Park Loop.

• At 9:06 a.m. Saturday, a 28-year-old man reported his black jacket and prescription medication was stolen in the 200 block of Franklin Street. Information only.

• At 11:17 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of stolen pain pills from a residence in the 5000 block of Glacier Highway.

Vandalism

• At noon Friday, JPD received a report that an unknown person smashed out two windows at Thibodeau’s Home Liquor & Deli, 425 W. Willoughby Ave., on the morning of Jan. 11. There was approximately $1,000 in damage, caused by a hammer.

Vehicle rifling

• At 10:40 a.m. Friday, a 44-year-old woman reported her vehicle was rifled sometime during the night in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Nothing was reported missing.
