Assault
• At 8:13 p.m. Saturday, a 29-year-old woman reported being assaulted by a 31-year-old man in the 4300 block of Marion Drive.
Burglary
• At 9:03 p.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of burglary and theft of approximately $700 worth of electronics in the 3800 block of Douglas Highway. Investigation continues.
Domestic violence
• At 11:08 p.m. Saturday, JPD investigated a reported domestic violence protective order violation in the Juneau area. Alcohol was involved. Charges were forwarded to the city attorney’s office.
Drunken driving
• At 3:47 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Faleupolu Vase Jr., 26, for driving under the influence in the 4200 block of Riverside Drive. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.
Fire and medical
• On Friday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to seven EMS calls, six transport calls, one false fire alarm, one call to assist finding lost hikers and one call that was cancelled en route.
• On Saturday, CCFR responded to four EMS calls, three transport calls, one call about a power pole on fire and one vehicle accident with injuries.
• On Sunday, CCFR responded to 10 EMS calls, four transport calls and one call that was cancelled en route.
Motor vehicle accident
• At 2:43 p.m. Saturday, a 43-year-old woman reported someone struck her vehicle in the Fred Meyer parking lot in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.
• At 2:53 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a motor vehicle crash with injuries in the 8100 block of Egan Drive near Fred Meyer.
Theft
• At 1:01 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of theft in the 2100 block of Jordan Avenue. Investigation continues.
• At 1:33 p.m. Saturday, a 31-year-old woman reported a small safe was stolen from a residence in the 2800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
• At 12:40 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of a stolen purse in the 200 block of Front Street. Investigation continues.
• At 2:24 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of a stolen fanny pack in the 200 block of Front Street. Investigation continues.
Vehicle rifling
• At 9:02 a.m. Sunday, a 32-year-old man reported his truck was rifled through in the 4400 block of Julep Street sometime in the early morning hours. Nothing was reported stolen.
