Police & Fire for Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016

Assault

• At 8:30 p.m. Saturday, a 55-year-old man was assaulted by an unknown man in the 100 block of Marine Way. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center for treatment. Alcohol was involved.

• At 10:07 p.m. Saturday, Michael Howard Jr., 31, was arrested for assaulting a 28-year-old man on Egan Drive, and he was taken to LCCC.

Domestic dispute

• At 7:15 a.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a domestic dispute.

Fight

• At 2:35 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a fight downtown in the 200 block of Front Street. Alcohol was involved.

Fire and medical

• On Thursday, Nov. 24, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 11 EMS calls, three medical transport calls and one public service call to assist patient on 12th Street with new home medical equipment.

Shoplift

• At 1:54 p.m. Saturday, Steven West, 56, was cited and released for shoplifting from a business in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway. Alcohol was involved.

• At 3:22 p.m. Saturday, Kenneth Lemieux, 50, was arrested for shoplifting from a local business in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. He was additionally arrested on an outstanding $50 City and Borough of Juneau warrant and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Steven West was cited and released for shoplifting from a business in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

• At 5:28 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of shoplifting in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

• At 7:25 p.m. Saturday, Jenny Trucano was cited and released for larceny for shoplifting in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway

Trespass

• At 1:14 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of someone trespassing on private property in the 400 block of Franklin Street.

Vehicle rifling

• At 2:17 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle was rifled in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue, and a purse valued at $25 and containing $1,000 Thai baht (the currency in Thailand) was reported stolen.

• At 7:34 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of a vehicle rifling in the 400 block of Willoughby Avenue. A handgun and other items were reported stolen.
