Police reports for Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016

Assault

• At 1:06 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of an assault in the 1600 block of Renninger Street. Investigation continues.

• at 7:43 Saturday, JPD received a report of an assault in the 200 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

• At 10:24 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested William Nakamura, 35, on charges of assault. Nakamura was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

Burglary

• at 7:36 a.m. Monday, JPD received a report that $5,000 worth of construction tools had been stolen from a trailer in the 2500 block of Vista Drive.

Disorderly Conduct

• At 11:40 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Christopher Davidson, 42, on one count of disorderly conduct after he challenged a police officer to a fight. Alcohol was involved.

Disturbance

• At 8 a.m. Monday, a 52-year-old woman reported to JPD that a 34-year-old man had broken a window at her home in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Domestic violence

• At 5:50 p.m. JPD arrested a 34-year-old woman on charges of domestic violence assault in the 300 block of Village Street. She was lodged at LCCC. Alcohol was involved.

Driving while intoxicated

• At 9:33 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Jose Guillermo, 25, for allegedly driving under the influence and refusing to take a breathalyzer test. JPD took Guillermo to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 11:38 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Troy Mayer, 46, for allegedly driving under the influence and refusing to take a breathalyzer test.

Fraud

• JPD received a report of fraud in downtown at 1:31 p.m. Friday. Investigation into the report continues.

Sexual assault

• At 3:44 p.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of an attempted sexual assault. Investigation continues.

Shoplifting

• At 10:54 a.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a shoplifting in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 4:12 p.m. Friday, JPD began investigating a theft from the business Pretty Please, located in the 200 block of Seward Street. Investigation continues.

• At 4:14 p.m. Satuday, JPD received a report of a theft from the Downtown Transit Center on Egan Drive. Investigation continues.

• At 9:59 a.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a burglarly of a building in the 1400 block of Glacier Avenue and the theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. Investigation continues.

At 9:32 am.m Monday, a man reported the theft of fuel from a tractor in the 7200 block of Glacier Highway.

Traffic stop

• At 1:44 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Andrew Totland, 32, and cited him with driving while license is revoked in the 1300 block of 34d Street. Totland’s car was impounded for 72 hours.

Trespassing

• JPD arrested Frank Charles White, 55, on charges of criminal trespass in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive at 6:49 p.m. Friday. White was taken to LCCC.

• At 9:45 a.m. Monday, JPD received a report that somebody had violated a stalking protective order in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. 

Vandalism

• At 3:34 p.m. Friday, JPD arrest Danial Shimabukuro on charges of criminal mischief and damaging a door at a home in the 3800 block of Kiowa Drive. The door was valued at $150. Criminal mischief is a class B misdemeanor. Shimabukuro was taken to LCCC.

• A 53-year-old man reported to JPD that the rear window of his car had been damaged in the 8900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road at 12:34 a.m. Sunday.

Vehicle trespass

• At 1:43 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report of vehicle rifling. A 44-year-old woman reported that her car had been rifled sometime during Friday night in the 1600 block of Douglas Highway. Nothing of value was taken.

• At 1:30 p.m. Sunday, a 25-year-old woman reported that her ‘97 Subaru Legacy had been rifled sometime during Saturday night in the 1200 block of Glacier Avenue. She reported that an Amazon tablet, an empty Coach wallet, some cash and a purse had been stolen. The total estimated value of the stolen items is $200.
