ANCHORAGE — Two men suspected of an Eagle River robbery were tracked down through a cellphone taken from the victim.
Anchorage police said 27-year-old Kyon Watson and 23-year-old Carlton Tarkington are charged with robbery. They’re being held at the Anchorage jail with bail set at $25,000.
Online court documents do not list their attorneys.
Police on Tuesday night took a call from a resident who reported being robbed of money and a phone at gunpoint in front of a home.
The victim said two men, driving separate sport utility vehicles, had watched the victim draw money from an ATM and followed the victim to the Eagle River home.
Police followed the tracking application on the phone to a gas station parking lot on Muldoon Road, contacted Watson and Tarkington and arrested them.
