Sutton man dies in highway crash

ANCHORAGE — Alaska State Troopers say a 50-year-old Sutton man has died in a crash on the Glenn Highway in the Palmer area.

Troopers said Keven Johnson died at the scene of the crash at milepost 52 Thursday night.

According to troopers, Johnson was heading south when his pickup truck crossed the center line and struck a northbound pickup driven by 57-year-old Thomas Pelfrey of Wasilla.

Pelfrey was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.

Troopers said their investigation of the crash continues.
