The Juneau Empire will be at Hearthside Books & Toys from 5-8 p.m. tonight at Gallery Walk, selling the historical book we produced this year.
Swing on by the bookstore, located at 254 Front St., and say hi to Jack Marshall, who will be manning our booth. Marshall is the distribution manager for the Empire’s sister publication, the Capital City Weekly.
We published “Juneau Recaptured: A personal look at the history of Alaska’s Capital City” to highlight historical photographs of Juneau that might otherwise have remained in shoe boxes in the attic or on closet shelves for years to come, never seen by the public’s eye. Thank you to all the community members who graciously shared your images with us. This truly is your book, and we hope it makes a great holiday gift for you and your families.
Have a great Gallery Walk, Juneau!
