Juneau-Douglas High School and Thunder Mountain High School start their cross country seasons today. Students with all experience levels interested in participating are welcome.
TMHS is holding practice this week at 5 p.m. at the high school’s main entrance. The team practices weekdays at the same time and place. Contact coaches Scott May at 723-8138 or Sandi Pahlke at 321-1799 for more information.
JDHS is holding practice at 4 p.m. at the JDHS auxiliary gym. Contact coaches Tristan Knutson-Lombardo at 723-1772 or Merry Ellefson at 500-8112 for more info.
Those interested in attending should come prepared to run and bring running clothes appropriate for the weather, a change of dry clothes, a watch, water and a post-run snack. All students must have a current physical (within the year) to practice.
