Great start to the season for the Huskies, who averaged just six points per game last year.

9:21 p.m.

Service’s hurry-up offense looks to be tiring Juneau. After going down 27-13, the Cougars have scored six straight touchdowns to take a commanding lead as the game winds down.

Midway 4th quarter: Service 52, Juneau 27.

9:00 p.m.

Service scores another touchdown and completes the two-point conversion.

Midway 3rd quarter: Service 40, Juneau 27

8:50 p.m.

Service takes back the lead after Jacob Scott throws a touchdown pass to Damian Johnson. PAT attempt is no good.

Early 3rd quarter: Service 32, Juneau 27.

8:22 p.m.

Service quarterback Jacob Scott throws a touchdown pass in the final minute of the half, but the PAT attempt is blocked by Juneau.

Halftime: Juneau 27, Service 26.

Service cuts into Juneau’s advantage with a touchdown run.

3:35 left 2nd Quarter: Juneau 27, Service 20.

8:00 p.m.

Wow, the Huskies continue to impress in the first game of the second season! Their offense has been unstoppable since midway through the first quarter, and now the defense steps up as Kamron Falls makes an interception and runs it 71 yards to the end zone!

Midway through the second quarter: Juneau 27, Service 13.

7:56 p.m.

Juneau quarterback Noah Chambers throws a touchdown pass to Danny Isaak! Didn’t catch how far the throw was, but this a big confidence booster by the sophomore quarterback.

Midway through 2nd quarter: Juneau 20, Service 13.

7:52 p.m.

Running back Gaby Soto has been rock solid so far. He may be one of the smaller players on the field, but he’s been really causing the Service defense trouble. Soto’s two touchdowns were just minutes apart from each other. The first one was near the end of the first quarter on a 37-yard run. The second one occured about a minute into the second quarter on a shorter run.

7:46 p.m.

7:42 p.m.

7:30 p.m.

7:28 p.m.

Quarterback Jacob Scott throws a 15-yard touchdown pass to Ethan Harrison with 5:35 left in the first quarter. PAT attempt is no good. Service 13, Juneau 0.

7:23 p.m.

Juneau fumbles the ball after driving it all the way to Service’s 1-yard line. The Huskies benefitted from two 15-yard defensive penalties and several strong runs by Ali Beya.

6:44 first quarter

7:10 p.m.

Service’s Sebastian O’Farrell scores on a 27-yard touchdown run. Jacob Scott PAT is good. Service 7, Juneau 0.

7:07 p.m.

The Cougars are getting ready to kick off to the Huskies after going three-and-out on their first drive. Huskies will start on their own 31-yard-line.

7:05 p.m.
